This sculptural book is intended to be opened and reconstructed in new ways when interacted with. The opposite face of each page has pockets with wire frames containing carved strips. These little strips of wood are pieces collected from the main face that has been carved into. The way it's carved is achieved by loosely following the natural grain of the wood panels while also creating a new grain that connects each panel that touches when laid flat. Every time it's played with some of these contained strips of wood shed out from their wire frames.
